Education
Open Polytechnic - 25% off for SFWU members!
Whether for your current job or future career aspirations, learning new skills are the fast track to getting ahead. Helping you progress on that journey is important to SFWU. As part of that commitment, we've entered into a partnership with the Open Polytechnic, leading experts in open and distance learning and one of the nation's biggest educators of people in the workforce.
We realise that taking time out from your busy work and other commitments to attend lectures can sometimes be difficult. The Open Polytechnic offers a flexible alternative. That's why thousands of people combining work and study enrol with the Open Polytechnic every year.
Because learning is by distance you can study where and when it suits you, it may be at night or in the weekend at home, or even in your lunch break at work. You can study towards a range of NZQA approved courses and qualifications at certificate, diploma, and degree level. The learning is vocational, so you can apply what you're learning directly in the workplace.
If you choose to study with Open Polytechnic, you will qualify for a 25% discount on course fees, providing you use the pre-coded enrolment form. The new forms for 2010 will be available soon. Please contact 0800 UNION1 (0800 864 661) if you would like one when they are available.
To find out more about the Open Polytechnic and what courses might be right for you go to: http://www.openpolytechnic.ac.nz/.
Note:
Please do not use the enrolment form on the Open Polytechnic website. Only use the pre-coded enrolment form available from the SFWU or you will not qualify for the special discount!

United Credit Union can offer you practically all the services available at major banks, such as:
-
Call Accounts
